Bidirectional Optimization

Bidirectional Optimization ensures that the network is encrypted end-to-end, from Outlook clients to the Exchange server and back. The can provide solutions in utilizing multiple route optimizers in different locations.

TCP uses bidirectional message exchanges between two nodes to establish a connection. Once the connection is established, TCP goes into network resource discovery mode, which is based on network capacity (bandwidth) and latency. It is adaptive for both the application process and the network.

Full bi-directional network optimization and integrated deduplication stores only one copy of a file, application, or operating system in the data center and does not transfer any blocks of user files, applications, or operating system over the WAN if another user’s system has already done so

With a bi-directional data store, data that is sent in one direction (e.g., from branch office to data center) is stored and re-used to optimize traffic going in the opposite direction. A bi-directional data store (top) keeps all data segments in a single dictionary, independently of the direction of traffic.
